The learner success rate for OntarioLearn’s online courses continues to show strong results. When adjusting to factor in attrition, the learner success rate in 2024 was 90.4%. The retention rate was 90.0%.

Rate Descriptions

Success rate is defined as the % of learners who achieved a final grade “greater or equal to” the minimum pass rate for their course.

Attrition rate is defined as the % of learners who officially withdrew from their course or did not complete the course and were assigned a grade of zero.

Retention rate is defined as the % of learners who were assigned a final grade.
